Orrville residents: Regular compost disposal and leaf drop off is available until Saturday, October 28th at our compost center, located on Apple Avenue.
Hours: Wednesday 7:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m., and 12:15 p.m.-3:15 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. -12 p.m.
For the month of November, the Compost Center will be open Saturday’s through November 18th for leaf drop off only! Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The City-wide leaf pick-up service will begin November 6th with the city being divided into a north and south section; Market Street being the middle line. Please use the schedule below as a guide, to know when to have your leaves raked and piled in the tree lawn.
South-end: November 6 – November 17 (moving to the north-end if we finish first pass early)
North-end: November 20– December 1 (off 23 & 24 Thanksgiving Holiday)
Final Pass: December 4- December 15 for both North and South sides

BAG LEAVES: **Kimble Refuse Co. will accept bagged leaves, on standard pick-up days, after (not during) our city-wide leaf collection**.
DEBRIS: Avoid placing debris (sticks, trash, bricks, stones, etc.) in or on the leaf piles as this could damage the leaf machine or injure the workers. Sticks can be bundled, tied, and placed at the curb for regular trash pick-up.
PROPER PLACEMENT: please place your leaves on the tree lawn or if none is available, place leaves directly behind the sidewalk.
STORM SEWERS: Please refrain from raking leaves into the street as it can cover the storm drains and cause flooding and also be a hazard for bicyclists.
VEHICLES: Any vehicle(s) parked on the street blocking workers from getting to the leaf piles will be passed up to avoid damage to the vehicle.
Paradise Composting on 6203 Akron Rd., Smithville and 4300 Mechanicsburg Rd, Wooster will be open all year. Appointments only, plus load fee. Please call 330-669-3141.
